Accessibility Statement
We want Mpabeat to work for as many people as possible. This statement explains our target, the measures already in place and how to tell us about a barrier.
Last updated 5 November 2026
1. Our commitment
Mpabeat aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA for the public website, player and account flows. Accessibility is an ongoing process, not a one-time badge.
2. What we have done
- Semantic headings, landmarks, skip links and visible focus styles.
- Keyboard-operable navigation, dialogs, player controls and forms.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and labelled icon buttons.
- Form labels, hints, error summaries and first-invalid focus.
- Colour contrast checks in light and dark themes.
- Touch targets of at least 44–48px on primary mobile actions.
- Reduced-motion support for animations.
- Responsive layouts that avoid horizontal page scrolling at 360px and above.
3. Known limitations
- Some third-party payment pages are controlled by MTN or Airtel and may not meet the same standard.
- Long editorial pages and legal pages may be lengthy; use browser find, headings and the page index to navigate.
- Audio content is inherently auditory; track titles, artist names and controls are labelled for screen readers, but the music itself has no text alternative.
- Older browsers may not support every modern CSS or JavaScript feature.
4. Feedback and accommodation
If a page, form, player control or payment step is difficult to use, email support@mpabeat.com with the subject "Accessibility" and tell us the page, device, browser and what happened. We aim to acknowledge within two business days.
If you need a document in another format or a different way to complete a purchase, contact us and we will try to provide a reasonable alternative.
5. Enforcement
We review accessibility as part of releases and welcome reports. This statement will be updated as the service changes.
